The-Riot Firearms Offers Complete LTC(License to Carry) Classes

Have you been wanting to take your LTC class, but not sure how to get started? Look no further! The-Riot Firearms has got you covered!

We offer group or individual classes. Additional fees may apply if there are groups larger than 10. Once payment is received, someone from our team will reach out to you via email or by the phone number provided when you signed up to discuss your availability for your class. Class time normally ranges from 4-6 hours followed by the handgun proficiency test out at the range. 

Students must pass the written exam with a 70% or higher as well as their handgun proficiency test with a semi or non-semi automatic handgun.

Applicants are able to submit an application for their criminal history background checks here DPS Application. https://txapps.texas.gov/txapp/txdps/ltc/ .  You may do this before or after you've taken the LTC class itself. Once applicants have passed their background checks, they will receive an email from identogo with a personalized link to schedule fingerprints. The costs of your DPS application and fingerprints are NOT included in the cost of the class. 

What you will need to bring to class with you:

- Pen, pencil
- Notebook or paper to take notes with
- Drivers license or Texas ID

What you will need to bring to the range with you:

- A semi or non-semi handgun
- 50 rounds of ammo
- Hearing protection
- Eye protection

**You must be at least 20 years of age to take the class, but cannot apply for your license until the day AFTER your 21st birthday.**
